SSC GD Exam is conducted for the selection of candidates to the post of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.
The Staff Selection Commission is the conducting body of SSC exams and the SSC GD notification 2020 will soon be released at the official website. The tentatives dates for the SSC GD 2020 exam are listed in the table below:

SSC GD Subjects
Before appearing for SSC GD Examination, the candidates should be familiar with the pattern of examination and SSC GD subjects.
SSC GD Examination comprises four stages:
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) includes an objective-type paper of 100 marks which needs to be answered in a duration of 90 minutes. It consists of the following subjects:

- General Knowledge and General Awareness
- Elementary Mathematics
- English/ Hindi

How to download the SSC Admit Card?
The Staff Selection Commission releases the SSC admit card on their official website. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps while downloading the admit Card:
- Visit the official website of SSC.
- Visit the homepage and click on the “download admit card” option.
- Select your region (e.g. Eastern, Northern region, etc.).
- The SSC admit card download link for the different SSC exams will be displayed on the screen. Select the particular examination that you are appearing for.
- Click on the link and login with your respective registration number and password that was provided during the online application process.
- Enter the required credentials.
- Save and download the SSC admit card.
- Take a printout of the downloaded admit card for your reference.
